Hi, I’m John!
My business card says that I’m a Psychotherapist, but I see myself as a Compassionate Listener and a Fellow Traveler, and I’d welcome an opportunity to walk with you on part of your journey.
Meaningful, Nourishing, Connections
I help people who are longing to feel seen, heard, and understood but are stuck in loops of behavior that makes it hard to have meaningful, nourishing connections with others or even with themselves.
Acceptance and Appreciation
I listen to you from a place of acceptance and appreciation, help you understand how your behavior may have been shaped by your experiences, and help you shift your relationship with the past so that you can change behaviors that have been getting in the way of having nourishing relationships.
Seen, Heard, Understood, and Appreciated
I help people learn new ways to communicate so that you can have connections where you both feel seen, heard, understood, and appreciated.
We are more than our problems!
My own journey through deep wounded-ness toward well-being and growth as helped me learn that we are more than our problems, that the past can shape our present but does not define us, and that we all have an innate drive and ability to move toward health, love, and connection.
I believe that having strong, healthy, connections with ourselves and others will change the world…and is what we truly deserve. That’s why I hope that you will call or email me today to schedule a consultation.
I look forward to meeting you!
